Top Coat Glossy lays down an elastic, highly transparent polymer film that seals the colour layer and at the same time builds a brilliant, mirror-like surface. The formula spreads the light evenly, with no streaks or shiny patches. The lacquer holds up reliably against everyday wear like friction, moisture and sweat, and keeps the colour brilliant for a long time. Pair it with Crosslinker CD and you push the durability of the high-gloss film even further – especially worth it on spots that get touched a lot.
Before you start, the leather should be clean, grease-free and fully dry. You lay Top Coat Glossy down thin and even with a sponge, airbrush or spray gun. One or two coats are enough for a premium high-gloss finish; more coats add depth, but keep each one fine. The lacquer dries clear and flows out smooth, so you get a clean mirror gloss. On demanding surfaces you can add Duller (to dial in the gloss level) or Soft Slip (for a softer feel) – depending on the result you’re after.
Once it’s dry you get a long-lasting, high-gloss protective film that visually upgrades coloured leather repairs and makes the material look more premium.
